The Woman in Black
The Woman in Black was first published in 1983 and has gone on to have a remarkable life over the following decades, in various paperback incarnations, as a set book for GCSE and A Level, and as a play, adapted by Stephen Mallatratt and running in London’s West End since 1988 and around the world. The acclaimed feature film, starring Daniel Radcliffe, came out in 2012. A paperback film tie-in of the book was published by Vintage, and there is also a beautiful small hardback published by Profile Books. It matches the format of the best-selling The Small Hand, my ghost story published in 2010, with a beautiful embossed jacket. It has a specially commissioned set of wood engravings to illustrate it by Andy English. This very special new edition of The Women in Black makes a perfect present. Postage and packing is free in the UK. For addresses in Europe, including Eire, it is a flat rate of £5 per parcel. We are sorry but we do not ship to the rest of the world.
